Made by a choir singer

PocketChoir began in a choir in Preveza, Greece. A new tenor wanted to learn the tenor part faster than one rehearsal a week allows. Recordings of the whole choir were no help: the tenor line disappeared under the sopranos, and nobody had time to record each voice separately.

So the tenor built a player for the choir: each voice on its own, the score scrolling along, slower when needed, and a clear choice for the passages where the tenors split in two. The whole choir started using it, and singers who had never read music learned their parts at home.

PocketChoir brings the same tool to every choir: community choirs, church choirs, school and university choirs, chamber choirs and festival choirs, in any language and any repertoire.

“PocketChoir” says what it is: your whole choir in your pocket. Open it on your phone, practise your part at home, then sing out with everyone.
